So my wardrobe needs a serious re-vamp at this point, and I'm starting to work on a shopping list for things I need. Generally, I've picked up my clothing items pretty much piecemeal. Pants here and a shirt there, new bras on occasion, etc etc. It's been a long time since I did a serious stock-up/re-vamp shopping trip.

With that in mind, I'm soliciting opinions and assistance on completing my shopping list. My list so far is below. If you think there's anything that's a staple part of a good wardrobe that I"m missing, let me know.

Things to keep in mind, business casual for work and I rarely need anything more formal. Also, these are things I _need_...not _want_. I do not NEED leather pants for example...no matter how much you might WANT me to have them. ;P

The list so far:

Slacks - 2-3 pair, not all black
Jeans - 3+ pair, preferably without spandex
Blouses/Tops - _maybe_ 1 or 2 new things
Sweaters - 1 or 2, going to try for not black
Bras - at least 3 new ones
Skirts - at least 2 work appropriate ones, preferably one ankle length and one shorter
Bonus prize - at least one thing that I don't need and is just for fun, eg a nice dress, new shoes, etc.

Jacket/Coat - a good rain coat and possibly a light leather jacket
Little "Black" Dress
Panties to go with bras


So...what am I missing?

For those of you accustomed to catching me online via chat during the day, I will be in meetings all day today through Wednesday and not online. I'm not sure if I'll get to email reliably before Thursday either, since I have evening obligations those nights as well. (Business dinners on Monday and Wednesday; game on Tuesday) I'll be checking my phone for messages and texts if there's anything urgent.

But I wouldn't want to miss out on the birthday wishes.

I've moved enough times, you'd think I'd have an icon for it by now. :D

So, after much debating, going over the calendar several times, going over the task list several times, discussing and then debating again, we've finally set our calendar to answer the big question: When Are We Moving?

Behold - for June shall be busy, but there will be moving and much rejoicing!

Between now and the move, in addition to packing, we are having new carpet put into the family/entertainment room and new tile in the laundry room/downstairs bath. In fact, I will be heading out shortly to meet the sales rep to confirm the measurements in the rooms and set up an installation date. That should be complete by the 14th.

I also plan to take a break from packing and lifting boxes to attend the Gaskell's on the 20th.

There's also a number of smaller projects to do - like installing new doorknobs/latches in a few places downstairs (doing that today) - and the bigger project of painting the ceilings in the kitchen, formal dining and living rooms. And that leads me to the other question I've gotten from a few people:

So that's all that's fit to print. I'm going to get my shoes on now and head over to finalize the details on the floor.
